Planet Dhaal was only just recently discovered during the 14th Planet Rush. Unlike most of the previous planets, Dhaal's Dominant Sapient Lifeform, the [[Special:MyLanguage/Zaika|Zaika]] are already civilized, and have a technologically advanced society on par with the majority of the galactic norm. This anomaly has lead to Dhaal already in the process of asserting sapient right into the [[Special:MyLanguage/United Galactic Confederacy|United Galactic Confederacy]]. It also means that Dhaal has the potential for trade between big businesses in the Confederacy such as [[Special:MyLanguage/Xenogen Biotech|Xenogen Biotech]], [[Special:MyLanguage/KihaCorp|KihaCorp]], and the [[Special:MyLanguage/Camarilla|Camarilla]] and will be unable to be easily enslaved by the likes of the [[Special:MyLanguage/Black Void|Black Void]] or the [[Special:MyLanguage/Tarratch|Tarratch]]. It certainly helps that Dhaal is currently run by several dystopian governing/business entities known as zaibatsu. The three largest and de facto power holders are Brightwater LLC, Paragon Inc. and Utopian Skies.

Dhaal is a planet that is tidally locked. This means that the speed of the planet's rotation and the speed of it orbit are in synchronization to each other; One side is constantly facing the planet's sun and the other side never sees it. As a result, one half is a frozen wasteland and the other is an endless desert. The only hospitable portion of the planet is a band of eternal twilight between the two hemispheres.

The Steele Biomedical Deepsea Research Facility is a laboratory that used to be part of Steele Tech's operations on [[Special:MyLanguage/Uveto|Uveto]] until a recent incident required all the personnel to be evacuated and the entrance sealed. Is it accessible from an elevator shaft located directly east of [[Special:MyLanguage/Doctor Lessau|Doctor Lessau]]'s office. Once entered, it cannot be left until the quest is completed.

After descending on the elevator, Steele can fight up to four Janeria Spawn as random encounters in the area around the Mainframe.

Typhon still controls the laser turrets in the Mainframe. After defeating Typhon, Steele can choose to destroy or keep the Data bead. This currently has no effect, so choose whichever you think is most appropriate. If Steele has the '''[[Special:MyLanguage/Tech_Specialist#Attack Drone|Attack Drone]]''' perk, the destroyed laser turrets can be converted into a '''[[Special:MyLanguage/Steeletech_Laser_Sentry_Mk1|SteeleTech Laser Sentry]]''' Drone.

The [[Special:MyLanguage/Akkadi Armored Depthsuit|Akkadi Armored Depthsuit]] must be worn to go outside the lab to reach the Generator. Any Janeria Spawn left alive will join their parent and make the fight more difficult.
