Kimber grew up in New Texas, and always wanted to be a scientist. That didn't change even after she was Treated, as the Treatment didn't have much effect on her mentally. She got her degree in chemistry, but there wasn't much call for chemists on [[New Texas]] aside from those working on the Treatment. So, she searched for work elsewhere. Her chemistry work took her from a largely aquatic planet, to the [[Kaithrit]] homeworld of [[Rosha]], and finally to a position with [[Xenogen Biotech]]. She's now a field agent as part of the [[Planet Rush]], looking for new materials to create new transformatives.

Kimber's an open and friendly sort, always happy to meet new people and share stories with them.

Kimber can first be encountered in Anon's Bar on [[Tavros]], after visiting both [[Mhen'ga]] and [[New Texas]]. After the first meeting, Kimber becomes a roaming NPC, appearing in bars on most planets or space stations. (She won't appear on Mhen'ga, and won't be on Tarkus if it's destroyed.) After talking to Kimber about her work, she'll ask the player if they can bring her back items from their travels that she might be able to use for her work. Finding these for her will unlock new stories about her and her life, which will also unlock new sex scenes.

If the PC has given Kimber four of the items listed above, and [[Tarkus]] wasn't blown up during the events of the [[Stellar Tether]], she will ask the player about getting something special for her. Kimber will tell the player about a creature known as the [[Daer Worm]], a monstrous species from planet Daerinoys, that she learned about from some [[Gabilani]] hunters, most of whom didn't survive their hunt. She asks if the player's willing to take the risk in hunting it down and bringing her back a sample. She knows it's dangerous, so there's no problem with saying no.

To the right is a map of the [[Daer Worm]]'s Lair. In the leftmost room is a pool of mineral water that will restore some of the player's energy. The Daer Worm is in the space marked with a '''"!"'''. The cave is also home to the Daer Worm's offspring, the [[Daer Wormling]]s, which have a chance to spawn and attack the player. The room marked with a "☆" is the bone chamber. The player can '''Search''' the room to find a [[Credits|credit]] chit with 4200 credits and the [[Gabilani Panties]]. The panties are potentially the best [[Lower undergarment]] in terms of sexiness, depending on the player's hip and/or butt size.

Completing this quest Unlocks the '''On Top''' option for Kimber's sex scenes.
