The bothrioc are a race of genderless, spider-like aliens obsessed with breeding by collecting egg bearers and addicting them to their [[Special:MyLanguage/bothrioc#eggnancy|oil]] to make easy receptacles for their eggs, and form harems, especially now, as their species is endangered by the ongoing  [[Special:MyLanguage/Myr|Myr War]]. Unlike their cousins, the [[Special:MyLanguage/Bothrioc Pidemme|Bothrioc Pidemme]] who, similar to the [https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolf_spider wolf] and [https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomisidae crab] spiders in that they hunt, fight, and force themselves on their prey, Quadommes use traditional and [https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_trapdoor_spiders trap door] spider strategies by creating a grid or web of their extremely sticky and durable silk and connecting it to their home in the cave roof. When a poor creature gets stuck in the web the bothrioc will descend upon them, tie them up with their silk, and breed them. This method means that they don't collect breeding partners as quickly as the Pidemmes, but capturing them is easier and more reliable. It also helps they produce more oil.

When the player encounters a Bothrioc Quadomme Web, they will be given a strength test* to break free. If they break free before the Dominatrix opens the trap door, they will patronize you for escaping and will politely ask for you to breed with them, but won't force themselves on you. You can say ''''Yes''', resulting in the Dominatrix breeding you for a few hours; '''No''', which will end the encounter peacefully; or '''Fight Back''', which will start the fight. The third option won't be avavailable at 60%-89% [[Special:MyLanguage/addiction|addiction]]. At 90%-100% addiction, the player will automatically choose to submit.

The Bothrioc Quadommes are characters of interest in [[Special:MyLanguage/Ara Kei|Ara Kei's diplomacy mission]]. Captain Steele must convince at least 4 Quadommes to coming to the Summit. To do so they must make Ara's case on their behalf which will initiate an '''Intelligence''' test. If they pass it while outside of the Web they will agree to come and leave the PC in peace. If the PC is in the Web however, they will still try to have sex you after agreeing to come. Note that if you fight them off and subsequently sleep with them, they will change their mind. If the PC fails to convince them while outside the web, the PC will have to bribe them to come, either by whoring themselves out or finding a [[Special:MyLanguage/Nyrean Huntress|substitute]]. If they are in the Web and fail to convince them with wit, the '''only''' way to convince them at that point is Submission.  The 4th and last Quadomme however, will always be [[Special:MyLanguage/Fei An Strozo|Fei An Strozo]].
