If the [[Codex:_Tentatool|Tentatool entry]] has not been viewed in the [[Codex|CODEX]], the item cannot be used until doing so. 

After taking the pill the player has 30 minutes before the effects appear. Between 2 and 4 effects can happen at the same time. 100% chance of 2, 50% chance of 3 and 33% chance of 4. The chance for each effect is random

Having too high of a tentacle score results in a [[Bad_Ends_by_Source#Tentacle End|bad end]].
