She appears in ''[[Special:MyLanguage/The Silence|The Silence]]'' as a major plot point, and becomes a potential crewmember for the ''Silence'' and, later, the ''Ghost.''

Once she acquires a physical body, Connie’s appearance is dramatically changed:

A pale blue beauty sashays out into your path. You blink hard as the robotic bombshell smiles at you with big, ultramarine lips, putting her hand on a set of broad hips that strain the band of her skin-tight yoga pants. Her flat, sleek belly is left bare, all the way up to a too-tight black sports bra that’s somehow hugging back a set of tits that would look more at home on a hyperporn star -- and emphasis on the hyper! She looks a lot like a certain New Texan companion droid you know -- maybe they’re the same model?

"Welcome back, captain," the droid says, oddly emotionless despite the husky purr in her voice. Almost eerily so.

Connie is a fairly basic [[Special:MyLanguage/Artificial_Intelligence#VI|virtual intelligence]], installed and operating aboard a [[Special:MyLanguage/Nova Securities|Nova Securities]] corvette, with which she shares a name. Once rescued, Kara causes her to integrate several companion droid protocols, which gives the embodied Connie a somewhat seductive, alluring charm despite her serious nature. By the time Steele has a chance to interact with her, Connie’s body is doing more of the talking than the original V.I. itself.

When initially encountered in ''[[Special:MyLanguage/The Silence|The Silence]]'', Connie is running on reserve power, using several of the ''Constellation'''s networks to support her operations due to the extensive damage taken by the ship. She is badly malfunctioning, but still guards the Platinum190 that the crew is after, prompting [[Special:MyLanguage/Kara|Kara]] to override her functionality through a puzzle. Once done, Connie accepts Kara as her captain, and grants full control over the ship to you.

It is possible to get Connie as a bonus crewmember for the ''Silence'' and it’s successor, the ''Ghost'', thanks to an empty companion droid chassis sitting in the cargo bay you can download her into. If you do so, Steele will encounter her in person during Kara’s second quest, when boarding the ''Ghost'' with Kara. Connie will introduce herself, and help her captain prepare for the mission at hand.
