Our founder Gelkenminah Broboskin Dravimilink the Eleventh supposedly came from a very hot world where drinkable moisture was reserved exclusively for breeding females. Everyone else just had to rely on their body absorbing what it could from the hot, dry world. Now, this may be apocryphal, since this was a very long time ago, but supposedly one day he got off his world and found a lover, and when they had children he was amazed to find that she lactated.
