Once all four quadommes have been successfully invited, Steele can return to Ara Kei and initiate the bothrioc summit. Regardless of the choice between real and fake counteragents, Steele will be rewarded with the Bothrioc Geneaology. If Steele decides to give Ara Kei the fake counteragent, the bothrioc summit will fail and the bothrioc embassy will be permanently closed. Alternatively, if Steel gives Ara Kei the real counteragent, the summit will succeed and the bothriocs will set up a government and apply to the UGC for citizenship as sapients. After waiting three(?) days, the Bothrioc Embassy will reopen and Ara Kei will reward Steele with the [[$link-24|Widow's Kiss]]. The Bothrioc Geneaology can be given to Doctor Lessau, although Steele will not receive a reward. It can also be given to Dr. Haswell for a 50k reward. Thus the most profitable path is to get Lessau to make the counteragent, but sell the genealogy to Haswell.
