Gryvain have a wide variety of reactions to their heat periods. Some, especially those not desirous of children, will resort to medication to suppress their heat, or will isolate themselves and attempt to sate themselves with vigorous and regular masturbation for the duration of their cycle. Others will gleefully attempt to have as much sex with as many partners as possible, virtually ensuring impregnation. The most common reaction is to retreat to home life with a partner (or several, for polyamorous gryvain) and simply mate whenever the urge becomes unbearable, with or without birth control as they choose.
