After several planet rushes, the G.H.R. has made terraforming a veritable art form, and are notable for having created several beautiful resort and luxury planets from otherwise desolate worlds. The Republic frequently contracts with the Confederacy to sculpt or refine worlds to spec, and their diplomatic corp has become quite adept at making contact with and uplifting native populations. While the gryvain enjoy the image of them spreading civilization and beauty across the galaxy, their rapid perfection of planetary renovation and inhabitation has an entirely selfish cause. Unlike most long-lived races, the gryvain have an exceptionally high birthrate and reproductive drive, which means that new worlds are in constant demand to counteract the growing populace. Thanks to the regular Planet Rushes, the gryvain have been able to relax their previously-stringent governmental population control, instead allowing their expanding generations to inhabit distant stars as colonizers, settlers, and immigrants in equal measure.
