The venom puts the Arachne into a state of blissful euphoria and keeps them from fighting back while arousing them at the same time. Once the Arachne has submitted to its mate, the drider then mounts their Arachne, mating until they climax. Driders typically lay between 6 to 10 eggs each reproductive cycle, with each batch of eggs only having 3 to 4 viable eggs. Extra eggs are absorbed as nutrients by the fertilized ones.
