Arising on the jungle world of [REDACTED], the thraggen survived for many millennia as hunter-gatherer tribes, hunting the towering Gryllan beasts rather than attempting agriculture, even into what would, on earth, have been analogous to the middle ages. Formed into closely-knit warrior tribes, the thraggen warred heavily against each other for territory, often resulting in clan feuds that would last for generations, and in some cases, persist to the modern day. Their early space flight was ramshackle at best, with most attempts at extraterrestrial flight merely attempts at weaponizing satellites or rapidly deploying soldiers. However, as the age of technology progressed on [REDACTED], the longer lives granted by advancing technology combined for the thraggen tendency to fuck rather than kill their enemies, began to lead to overpopulation of the homeworld. Hunting grounds became ever more precious, and the first major settlements, or clan holds, were established to secure precious land against rival tribes and upstart bands.
