Kimber grew up in New Texas, and always wanted to be a scientist. That didn't change even after she was Treated, as the Treatment didn't have much effect on her mentally. She got her degree in chemistry, but there wasn't much call for chemists on [[$link-2|New Texas]] aside from those working on the Treatment. So, she searched for work elsewhere. Her chemistry work took her from a largely aquatic planet, to the [[$link-3|Kaithrit]] homeworld of [[$link-4|Rosha]], and finally to a position with [[$link-5|Xenogen Biotech]]. She's now a field agent as part of the [[$link-6|Planet Rush]], looking for new materials to create new transformative.
