Shade starts off as a bounty hunter looking for Steele’s employer. It’s possible to distract Shade (successfully or not), or to betray [[$link-39|Kara]] and help Shade cash in on the bounty. If Steele ends up fighting against Shade and winning, she’ll escape to fight another day; if Steele loses, she’ll contemptuously dismiss Steele and never be seen again. If Steele successfully distracts her (via flirting) or sides with her, Steele will earn a friend and possible lover on Myrellion.
