The letter may vary based on Steele’s interactions. If Steele is Shade’s friend/lover (secret or unrevealed relation, no betrayal) or sister (revealed relation, non-lover), Shade’s interaction will mostly be positive, introducing Steele to her daughter, and will invite Steele to her house. If Steele is Shade’s lover and has betrayed her in the [[$link-48|Pirate Base]], Shade will feel threatened and give Steele the option to '''Promise''' to not interact with Kara any longer, or refuse and end the relationship. Choosing to refuse will make Shade leave and she will become hostile.
