Once Steele agrees to talk with Syri the both of them return to Steele's ship where they are interrupted by Anno if she is a crewmate. After that potential interruption, Syri explains that she received an '''annonymous''' tip that [[$link-7|Valden]] her friend from the transporter incident is alive and being experimented upon by Akkadi. However, due to Akkadi basically having her everything on file, she can't be the one to rescue him and asks you to do it, but don't worry she has a cunning plan to save Valden. Steele can then ask Syri some questions before making a decision.
