When meeting Calnor, the doctor will introduce himself before being interrupted by Valden who will ask you to kill Calnor over the P.A. The PC will have the choice to "Team Up" with Calnor or try to kill him for Valden.  Siding with Calnor leads to Valden sending security bots to subdue the two of you. Beating the bots will lead to a second confrontation in the '''Warp Field''' At which point the player can '''Try Peace''' or '''Kill Valden'''. Losing to the security bots or Valden will lead to a [[$link-4|'''Bad End''']]. If the PC sides with Valden, they will fight Calnor and be allowed to enter the '''Warp Field''' peacefully and negotiate his escape plan. '''Note:''' the option to kill Valden will not be available. If Valden is allowed to escape it will lead to a final-final battle against a gunship being piloted by [[$link-5|Commander Schora]].
