	The Daer Worm is a massive boss enemy. If the player is defeated by this creature it will devour you, leading to a '''[[Bad_Ends_by_Source#Daer End\|Bad End]]'''. Due to its size, it is unwise for it to attempt tunneling lest it collapse the cavern. However, when fought there is a rare chance that its offspring might join the battle by tunneling into the room. It is completely immune to lust attacks and lacks any damage type weaknesses or ranged attacks. Just like the [[Daer Wormling]] it has armor instead of plasma shields that can be destroyed by crushing weapons, greatly reducing defense. The player can flee from this enemy, and it will remain in its chamber until the player kills it.
