The Daer Worm is a larger and more dangerous version of the [[Special:MyLanguage/Daer Wormling|Daer Wormling]] and a hostile encounter found in its lair during [[Special:MyLanguage/Kimber|Kimber]]'s [[Special:MyLanguage/Tarkus|Tarkus]] quest.
== Appearance ==

The daer worm is a monstrous creature easily twenty feet long, with a body covered with brown and black chitin and dozens of spindly, clawed legs. Its head is wedge-shaped, with foot-long spikes running in ridges down the sides, and a wide, toothy underbite maw filled with more teeth than any creature should need. The Daer Worm will be found in its own special chamber at the end of the lair. Should the PC enter the chamber, it will attempt to kill you on sight. Even if the player kills it, its offspring will still roam the lair. The Daer Worm is the target necessary to be killed as part of [[Special:MyLanguage/Kimber|Kimber]]'s quest. If the player discovers and kills the Daer Worm before accepting the quest, they can always return to it and collect the samples from its corpse.
