When asked, she reveals that one of her ancestors was involved with the creation of the Gates centuries ago, which led to her family's success and wealth ever since. While working as a graduate assistant at the university, Anno met her current lover, [[$link-9| Kaede Entara]], a half-ausar undergrad who she was paid to tutor in physics.
