They will lay anywhere from three to ten large eggs in an act that they describe as “hellishly pleasurable” before slumbering to recover. The eggs will hatch within a month, each containing a young raskvel if fertilized. The eggs do not need to be incubated. Once laid they are often left to fend for themselves, as the Raskvel are quite lacking in maternal instincts. The offspring are inquisitive, knowledge-hungry creatures that soak up information like sponges and mature enough to work and talk within a month or two. Full adulthood and sexual maturity do not come for at least two years.<br />
