The Scarlet Federation was formed from several disparate city-states of red myr who lived far to the north-east of the gold myr heartlands, and on another continent. Near their territory were several of the largest cities of [[$link-4| nyrea]], as well as over "monsters" from the barren wastelands of the far north. The Federation was formed during a series of unification wars, which eventually saw most of the red myr cities (and a handful of nyrean ones) collected under one banner. The Federation was formed in the same generation as the Red-Gold war, and several veterans from the unification conflicts fought in the world war that followed.
