Vark's personal history varies based on the gender of Steele.<br />
Vark was a Milodan Hunter who fell in love and bedded with either the son or daughter of his village's Alpha before they were officially married. The Alpha greatly disapproved of their union for varying reasons and subsequently banished Vark from the village. If Steele identifies as male, Vark was exiled for being unable to produce an heir with Duln (Both of them being males.) If Steele identifies as female, the Alpha stated that he believed Vark to be too weak and sent him on a hunt to prove himself.
