This Category refers to boss characters and other hostiles who can or probably will be encountered in order to get to the resolution of a major quest-line or event.  However, before fighting the character, the player may attempt to negotiate a peaceful solution rather than fighting the enemy.  Methods of negotiation include: bribery, chivalry, seduction, black-mail, diplomacy, bargaining, trade, not taking certain courses of action long before encountering the hostiles, or taking certain courses of action long before encountering the hostile.
