EM Popper
Also called a “rebel’s best friend”, the EM Popper is a small-area electromagnetic pulse grenade that can take out shields as easily as it fries computer chips and communication devices. More robust security systems often have built-in protections and backups against EMP, but such contingencies can hardly be taken to the field. Needless to say, the property damage caused by EM Poppers is sufficient to drive the zaibatsu crazy.

Can be purchased from Rivet.
Usage
This item will be thrown on use and can only be used in combat. In doing so, the grenade will deal damage to the hostile enemy shields but not HP. This will put robots and automatons in a "Stunned" state for 2 turns.
