While Venus pitchers are non-aggressive, they are still wild creatures and should be approached with caution.

After an encounter with an Elder Venus Pitcher, her location should be marked on the map by a unique icon.

Upon first encounter, she will try to hypnotize her victim and there will be an option to Watch or Look Away (option to choose is based on willpower vs libido and a random chance, otherwise it will be to watch). On repeat encounters, if not hypnotized before (or passing the willpower vs libido check again), there will be an option to Stay or refuse; if not, the victim will proceed to be hypnotized again.

Combat

Venus Pitchers do not engage in combat, but would rather have sex with their prey. Elder Venus Pitchers will go for hypnotism instead to draw in their prey.

Captain Steele will have a dynamic hypnotism submission level when encountering elder Venus pitchers, measured on a scale of 0% (unaffected) to 100% (fully submitted). During repeat encounters with an elder Venus pitcher, there may be a random chance to have the option to stay or leave, with the deciding factor based off of willpower (with libido penalty) versus the submission level. The submission level will decrease over time (-1%, per day). The formula for the potential option is as follows:

if ((willpower - libido)/3 + (random value between 1 and 20)) is greater than (submission level + 9); otherwise there will be no option.

Elder Venus pitchers can be found towards the southern portion of the jungles, but only in certain spots and will only appear from their slumber if they are looking for fluids to feed on (or a womb to breed with).

Encountering elder Venus pitchers at 100% submission will result in a bad end.

When impregnated by a Venus Pitcher, the victim may develop a number of Venus Pitcher Seed Pods in the womb. The pods will usually reside and grow in the womb for about three days before birth. Each successive birth will take place approximately 4 hours after the previous birth until all the seeds have been birthed. If the seeds were unfertilized, the pods can be held as an inventory item and can be sold for credits.

During a specific part of Emmy's sex quest, the Venus Pitcher will drop a Venus Pitcher Bloom.
