Description

Owner of the Machinist Shop in Novahome on Tarkus.

Appearance

The girl’s radiant, golden eyes stare into your own at conveniently perfect eye-to-eye level, with a giant smile on her pudgy, fuzzy cheeks disarming any nervousness. She’s definitely a girl! A youthful little upstart that probably has little business being here, let alone being evidently unsupervised. You decide to keep that thought to yourself for now. She’s a rather beastial thing and very certainly some sort of bat-morph, body covered in a dark brown fuzzy down with claw-like feet and fingers coming from her wide spanning, leathery wings midjoint. Despite her cute humanoid face she probably isn’t modded, "just" an alien. She’s much too young for anything like that.

History/Personality/Information of Note

Aurora is a young shop owner with a mysterious (and presumably dark) history. In contrast to her past, she seems to be a very perky individual who talks a million-miles-a-minute and isn't afraid to speak her mind, including using sound effects in conversation.

Currently, she is raised by, and does business with, the raskvel of Novahome, whom she enjoys the company of. Her general curiosity has led her to be somewhat of an "engineer" on Novahome.

She is a vegetarian.

Aurora sells items and can be talked to about numerous topics. Captain Steele can browse around the shop as Aurora comments on each item.

Quests

Currently, Aurora does not have any related quests but her whereabouts are affected by both Anno's Ghost Deck mission and the Stellar Tether adventure.

If Tarkus is destroyed during the Stellar Tether adventure, Aurora's fate will be decided on whether or not the Shields were turned on during the Ghost Deck mission. Aurora's shop will be destroyed during the explosion, regardless of shields. However, if the shields were turned on, Aurora will survive and can be revisited in The Mess with limited interaction; otherwise, she will be missing from Novahome indefinitely. Of course, if Steele has never met the bat girl before at all, she will never make a reappearance after the explosion.

Trivia

Aurora's bust was redone by Shou even though Shou made the original one. This is because her previous Bust, had visible breasts which gave many people who played the game the wrong idea that Aurora was old enough to have sex and simply playing hard to get, disinterested in sex, or that sexual content had not yet been written for her. In actuality, according to Aurora's Creator "Magic Ted", Aurora is supposed to be, at most, 14-years-old and probably even younger than that. She also has yet to have the "Anatae & Zil" talk yet.
- Though interestingly enough, it is odd how she is sexually ignorant despite being raised by a race of aliens who value breeding even more than food and clean water.
Her appearance and personality is loosely based on the character Radical Edward from Cowboy Bebop.
