A flak turret
As a turret, this requires a crew member to fire it.
Flak cannons are simple and reliable systems that have been used since the earliest days of space travel. They are designed to blanket large areas in deadly, high-speed shrapnel. Their clouds of metal are also commonly used defensively as chaff to confuse targeting systems.
