Description
A hostile goo creature who can be encountered in the Deep Caverns of Myrellion.
Appearance
The ganrael ambusher is a frightful sight. Tens of skittering, insectile legs shift and clatter beneath its lichen cloak. Though it usually stays low to take advantage of its camouflage, its nine-foot body is capable of dangerous leverage when it rears to strike. It’s covered with hard, sculpted plates that provide formidable defense, and its gauntleted hands ward blows. The uppermost section of its trunk resembles a woman sculpted from [color] stone.
A ganrael ambusher's skin/armor color can be either green, blue, yellow, pink or red. Its appearance will also dynamically change in battle.
History/Personality/Information of Note
The ambusher is highly territorial.
Interactions
The ganrael ambusher is hostile and will try to attack Captain Steele upon encounter. It is possible for Steele to break all its armor off in combat, making it vulnerable.
Combat
The ganrael ambusher is equipped with goo-based armor and basic shields.
Its combat actions include:
- Melee - Regular melee attack, consisting of a slap that deals moderate kinetic damage or kick that deals moderate kinetic penetrating damage.
- Lash Out - A flurry of melee attacks.
- Have a Nice Trip - A special attack that causes the opponent to trip.
- False Retreat - Special ability triggering "GooCamo", used to hide from the opponent.
- Sneak Squeeze - A potential grapple attack, follow-up from the false retreat.
Resistances:
- 25% immunity to kinetic attacks
- Mirrored protective flag
