Hailstorm

Developed by Paragon Inc for use against rebel cells that often disrupt their mining operations, this rifle fires a barrage of super-condensed icicle bullets that can knock the target prone, making it easy prey for other suppression forces - if it doesn't die from the initial assault. The downside is that Hailstorm has a very high recoil, impairing the user's mobility. Ironically, the design has been leaked and promptly appropriated by those very same rebel cells, who can make good use of it in the arctic conditions they are forced to work under.

Trip Chance causes the weapon to occasionally inflict the Tripped debuff on targets, reducing Evasion vs melee attacks by 50%, but increasing Evasion vs ranged attacks by 10%.
