Seasonal Events are scenes or events which are restricted to specific time period and will only occur between certain real-world dates. Certain cheat codes can also be used to get those scenes to occur regardless of the actual time period.

Calendar rules

There is no actual system to handle seasonal events, so each one implements repeatability and time constraints in its own way, which can lead to various quirks.

Repeatable once per calendar year: At some point when the event is triggered, the game records the current year and will not trigger the event again until not only the seasonal conditions are met, but also until the calendar year has changed (often specifically until it has increased). That means that, even when using cheats, these events cannot be re-triggered until the next year rolls around.

Reset once the season is over: These events consider the end of a season to be a key point, which causes some flags to be reset. If a game is saved during Christmas season one year, and resumed at some point in September, the game will register that Christmas season is over and will reset the relevant flags. If that same save is not reloaded until the following Christmas, though, that "end of season" trigger will have been missed, and events that check for this will not be available to retry.

Completable off-season: Some quests, like Poe A or the Pump-king quest are set to be initiated during a season, but will not become unavailable if they are not completed by the end of said season.

Reset by e-mail: Some events chains that are initiated by an e-mail are actually reset specifically by the act of receiving/reading a new copy of said e-mail. How the game decides when the e-mail should be sent again varies.

One-off/Cannot be repeated: These events set a global save flag at some point when the player goes through them, which the game uses to prevent said event to trigger again. This can be for narrative reasons (like The Kashima Incident), or just an oversight.

April Fool's day

April 1st (one day only)

Replaces most mentions of "credits" with "dogecoin" as well as "Penny" with "Space Urta" and "Korgonne" with "Memehound"
Sleeping in your own ship while Kase is in your crew can lead to a unique dream
5% chance of contracting cooties from post-combat sex on most planets if Steele has a vagina

Easter

April 10th (±15 days)

All enemies have a chance (about 2%) of dropping a large or small egg of any color as a rare drop

Independence Day

July 4th (±7 days)

All enemies have a chance (about 3%) of dropping Red Rockets as a rare drop
Doctor Badger starts selling Red Rockets
Riley can be encountered (5% chance ) on Mhen'ga, Tarkus, New Texas and Phaedra while exploring hazardous locations

Oktoberfest

September 18th (±4 days)

No events are programmed for that date

Thanksgiving (Canada)

October 10th (±6 days)

Canada can be met on New Texas

Halloween

October 29th (±10 days)

All enemies have a small chance (about 2%) of dropping a Halloween item, which can be

[Level 7+] 25% chance of receiving a distress call that will start The Kashima Incident quest while travelling to or from Myrellion
[Level 7+] 25% chance of stumbling upon the Event Whorizon while travelling between planets if Steele has genitals
[Level 7+] Steele has a chance of receiving an e-mail from Penny starting The Pump-King quest
- That event is no longer obtainable once Penny has joined your crew
- While the Pump-King quest is ongoing, the Pump-king can be encountered on Mhen'ga between 23:00 and 1:00 in-game
Visiting Paige in her apartment will lead to a special Halloween scene
Visiting Sera at The Dark Chrysalis with her as your mistress and while having A-cups breasts or larger will lead to a repeatable scene where Steele is given Milk Caramel Gushers before having sex with Sera
Sleeping in your own ship while Reaha is in your crew will lead to a dream encounter with the Chupacabro
- That event will reset once the season is over, and is repeatable year after year
Ciaran will send you an e-mail regarding the Succucow if Steele has met him
- Once the e-mail has been read, Ciaran can be asked about it between 17:00 and 20:00 in-game
- That e-mail will be re-sent every year, so this event is repeatable
Inessa starts selling the Packaged Witch's Outfit
Entering the Travos Nursery will lead to a scene where Steele gets to carve pumpkins with their children
- That event will reset once the season is over, and is repeatable year after year
The Mindwash Visor can be used play through the Nunnery Facefuck Massacre, which grants you the Face Fucker perk
A number of dreams are exclusive to that period
Treat the Tricks event on New Texas
Sauwinn is a more common encounter on Dhaal

Verusha event
Night Bites can give additional eye and fur colors

Late Halloween

November 10th (±10 days)

Visiting Shekka while she is part of your crew will lead to a one-time makeout scene while she's working on her witch costume, that she failed to finish in time.

Thanksgiving (United States)

November 24th (±6 days)

Canada can be met on New Texas
Football game on New Texas

Christmas

December 25th (±8 days)

Note: unless stated otherwise events/scenes are repeatable after one real year has passed

Christmas Dreams

Repeatable Christmas dreams are added to available dreams (if their conditions are met)
- Femdom Elves
  - Hard personality
  - Using male pronouns
  - Has penis
If Ciaran has been met Steele will get a "happy holidays" e-mail from the "The New Texas Department of Wildlife"
- When sleeping during the Christmas season Steele may have the "Randy Claws" dream

Entering your ship while docked on Zheng Shi causes the Rat Raiders to show up for a holiday surprise if Steele has a good enough reputation with them

Riya

If Riya has been met before, Steele will receive an invitation e-mail to a UGC Christmas party on Tavros
- Attending the party will increase the SynthSheath limit by 1 (one time only)

Shade

Shade will invite you to a Christmas dinner if she's your lover or if she knows she's Steele's sister
- That e-mail will only be sent once
- If the above email has been read, Shade can then be met at her house on Uveto to partake in said Christmas dinner
  - Despite the e-mail not being sent every year, the event can still be done once per year

Embry

Embry will send you an e-mail asking Steele to visit her at the Golden Peak if Steele has helped her transition and if you've had sex with her before
- The scene will not occur if the Golden Peak is then visited out-of-season

Gwen and Eimear

Going to the Carbonado on Uveto during hangout hours can lead to Christmas shopping with Gwen

Frosty

Visiting frosty's lair will lead to holiday celebrations with Steele's Frostwyrm family

1% chance of being encountered when moving through the Glacial Rift or the Frozen Tundra on Uveto, if she hasn't been met before
If Myrna has already been met this year or during a previous year, she can be met in her cave on a marked tile southeast of the frozen tundra, on the same tile leading to Vark's cave.

Candy

Can be met in the Freezer on Uveto
