Crystal Shard

A chemically-treated shard of crystallized goo from a ganrael. When shattered, the shard will cover the user with goo that will rapidly recrystallize, granting a defensive boost for several hours.

Item is related to the ganrael.

Acquisition

Can be bought from Seifyn at the Trading Post in the Deep Caverns.

Usage

This item will be consumed on use.

Upon use (inside or outside of combat):

Status Changes
Condition	Change
No "Crystal Coated" status effect	Gain the "Crystal Coated" status effect Temporarily increases defense by 4 points for 20 hours
Has "Crystal Coated" status effect	Item will not be used

NPCs can also use this item.
