Lucinite Ore Chunk

A rare metal ore, only found within the coldest underbellies of the outer fringe worlds. This teal blue material is icy cold to the touch, even when taken into warm environments, and acts as a natural heat absorber. For this reason, it is usually wise to pack the proper equipment specifically for the safe excavation and handling of lucinite. When melted down at extreme temperatures, it can also function as a natural coolant. Being a newly discovered metal, most of its other possible applications are currently unknown.

Acquisition

Lucinite can be found as a random drop on Uveto.

• 0.8% chance (1.66% chance whilst having the Nog’wich Leash as your accessory) to find for tundra square (white squares in the eastern part of Uveto).
• Can be bought from Zarduk in the Lounge on the Zheng Shi Operations Deck

Usage

Custom Hardlight Weapon

Lucinite can be given to Qailla while building a weapon.

• As a Focus Gem, it causes the weapon to do Freezing damage.
• As a Resonance Gem, it grants extra Defense.
• As a Trick Gem, it adds Freeze Chance.

Carry

Each piece of Lucinete in Steele's inventory will reduce their freezing resistance by 10% It might be best to meet the conditions of Can Resist Cold Damage whilst searching for Lucinite by any of the following conditions:

• Freezing resistance is at or exceeds target resistance (usually 25%)
• Equipped Armor has Heat Generator flag
• Equiped Shield generator has Heat Belt flag
• Has "Icy Veins" perk
• Has "Wooly" perk with wool fur
• Has "T.Pack" status effect
