谢普·达诺克教授是一位身高 5英尺10英寸的男性人类，看起来已是中老年，这很可能意味着他至少活了好几个世纪。他身穿朴素的棉质猎装，方形、无须的脸上仿佛刻着一副和蔼而饶有兴趣的表情。他体格相当健壮，皮肤呈坚韧的核桃色，说明他一生大部分时间都享有户外生活的优渥。他的白发浓密但打理得整整齐齐。他身上没有任何古怪的基因改造迹象，除了那种用来消除肝斑、背痛和眼镜之类烦恼的改造。
