Description

A once-benevolent Ai driven insane by the disaster that befell the facility.

Appearance

The AI in charge of the Deepsea Research Facility mainframe has been corrupted beyond recognition. The warped and twisted holoavatar is disturbing to behold, but fortunately he’s given you a whole bunch of security turrets to focus on instead. You’d better take them out before the gunfire makes this place spring a leak!

Interactions

Typhon attacks with it's laser turrets as soon as Captain Steele entered it's room. Steele can choose to Kill It or Take it's Data Bead. There is currently no functional difference between the two.

Combat

Typhon has 4 active Laser Turrets at the start of combat. It loses 1 for each 25% of health it loses.

Random Pool Moves

Typhon Turret Fire - Attacks with all functional Turrets
Typhon Screech - Emits loud noises for Kinetic damage and a chance to Stun
- Resisted by Willpower
- Airtight and Pressurized flags grant a bonus to resist
Typhon Coolant Breach - One of the remaining Turrets hits a coolant line, spraying coolant, possibly inflicting Coolant Soaked for 3 turns
- 10% less likely for each Turret disabled
- Negated by Airtight armor
- Reduces Reflexes by 10
- Duration can stack

40% immunity to Electric attacks

Has the Keycard that is required to get into the Storage Closet for the Akkadi Armored Depthsuit.

If Steele has the Attack Drone Perk, some of Typhon's laser turrets can be salvaged to create the Steeletech Laser Sentry Mk1.
