Your thoughts draw your gaze back to your hostess, standing across the fire with her back to you, staring down into the hazy, dark ice of the cave's floor. She gives you a glance over her shoulder and a blue-lipped smile, and lets the heavy cloak slip down. The figure that had been hidden beneath it is svelte and athletic, honed to physical perfection after a lifetime of surviving in the harshest wilderness. Her pale skin hints at tense, strong muscles hidden under the colorful woolen garments still clinging to her body. And, you note, several more tails are on display now: {marion.tailCount} pink, fluffy fox-tails wrap around her waist and groin, keeping her nice and warm.

The Essyra turns on a heel to face you, taking a long-legged stride closer until your bodies are separated only by the ring of the fire pit. She's still smiling, her bright eyes gleaming in the firelight, as she slowly walks around. It can be assumed from the Marion portion of the Lureling Codex entry that this Essyra or the Essyra's ancestors were psionically dominated by a Lureling or that Lureling's ancestors, and that their bodies are being used as a puppet to scout Uveto's surface and seduce sapients, so that the Lureling can feel some facsimile of sexual pleasure. Because of this, Marion comes off as a mute, ditsy, playful temptress, who's only function is to serve the basic functions and desires of their Lureling (Master/Mistress).

The Essyra Marion is an extremely rare encounter found on the hostile squares of Uveto. They comes in four variations based on its genitals. One of them, has a single, long, blue, tentacle cock, that emerges from a sheath with external testicles and has tapered tip and no knot. The second, has a random number of tentacle cocks, smaller than the first one but still relatively long, surrounding her pussy like a cephalopod, each one being blue with several knots at their bases, and no external testicles. The third one, presumably a half breed, has one 8" long, black, Korgonne cock. The last one is purely Female, only having one vagina. When first meeting one, it will silently invite you to follow them to their home. If the player has the maximum resistance to Uveto Freezing Weather, is wearing the Heat Belt (Basic) or Arctic Warfare Belt, or has temporary immunity through Pippa or the Thermal Pack then they will have a choice to follow her. Otherwise they will have no choice and follow her on the assumption that she is taking the player somewhere warm. Telling her to leave ends the encounter but fighting back causes the player to retaliate by hurling their own snowballs. Eventually, one strikes her in the head causing her to loose balance and fall, and the weight of her ass causes the hill of snow she was standing on to collapse. The player is subsequently crushed under the mini avalanche and pulled out by the Essyra who mischievously kisses you after the whole ordeal. After that, the player will once again have the option to follow her.

Following her to her home will, cause the player to be moved to the nearest cave which happens to be her den. After warming up together, the Essyra will begin making none-to-subtle sexual advances on to the player. The player will have the option to Fuck Her or bail. If the player tries to bail, the Essyra will presume that you are playing hard-to-get and try to remove her clothes and yours. The player will have the option to Flee! or Smack a bitch up. Attacking the Essyra will cause its Lureling (Master/Mistress) to feel the attack and burst through the ice beneath, retaliating against the player. (See Lureling Below)

According to the codex entry for Lurelings it can be assumed that the Lureling has mentally dominated the Marion with its psionic powers. It has gone out of its way to help its host seduce other Uvetans and aliens by giving her a playful and ditsy personality, and using its subterranean tunneling ability to create a warm and insulating cave for when the host is ready to get hot and heavy with its most recent victim.

The Lureling will only appear if the player Smacks its Marion. If you do that, then the Lureling will suddenly burst from beneath the ice and attack the player with the intent of protecting the Marion.

Combat

The Lureling should have shitloads of Health and massive Armor. It is, however, super vulnerable to lust. The whole reason it's doing this is cuz it's horny. Assuming the player isn't stunned, the player has a 100% chance of successfully fleeing from this enemy. Though it will cause the Lureling and Marion to laugh at you like the Bitch you are. Don't worry about losing, it won't kill you. But for some reason the Marion will steal a credit chit. Also, the Lureling is one of the only enemies in the entire game that actually values the concept of consent. It just kicks you out of her house.

• Flipper Slap - The Lureling advances upon you and attempts to bitch slap you like you did the Marion with its flipper.
