A lifetime of sedentary tasks and good eating has left him chubbier than the average korgonne and even less suited to physical activities than the tribe’s other elders, but his eyes radiate the keen intellect and confidence that can only come from of a lifetime of trying to solve an entire tribe’s problems single-handedly."

"Wearing more jewelry than the average male korg, he dresses in little but a single loincloth for modesty. His coat of shaggy white fur proudly tells his age in the same way that a tree trunk’s rings might chronicle its years, matched perfectly by a mop of alabaster hair. Idly stroking a flowing beard, the former tribal leader stares back at you in the same way that you look at him."

"It’s uncomfortable to be weighed with someone else’s eyes, but whatever he thinks of you, his thankfulness is writ plain on his face. This old korg is unlikely to forget the service you have done for him and his people."

Chief is very old by Korgonne standards, so old that he barely remembers his own age or name. Being incredibly old, he is quite rotund and feeble by comparison to the other males, but makes up for it with his life experience and keen intellect. Chief is very protective of his tribe, a sentiment molded from numerous tragedies that he experienced in his life.

He bared witness to the first Milodan/Korgonne War. A war that lasted decades and lead to many tribes of Korgonne and Milodans being wiped out or enslaved. A war that only ended because his father willingly exchanged his life to the Milodans in exchange for armistice. After the war, he met the girl of his dreams, a fiercely skilled Huntress named Juko. But after giving birth to Ula she was slain by a Frostwyrm.

Being the only family he has left, Chief is especially protective of Ula forbidding her from seeing any males and concealing tribe away from Milodans and aliens, out of fear that her fascination and curiosity towards the latter would bring doom upon his people.

Chief believes his greatest duty is the safety of his people. He is aware that Hunters and Huntresses often run into scuffles and ambushes with Milodans and feared that these skirmishes were building tensions that he Must prevent from escalating. He was willing to sacrifice anything, including his own life, to ensure his people’s survival.

Recently however, Chief has realized that in his old age his old fashioned pragmatism is no longer suitable for his people’s best interests and has since abdicated the throne to his daughter Ula.

Interactions

Ula’s Father briefly appears when entering the Korg’ii Hold for the first time. He is obviously suspicious of the PC but allows you to stay for rescuing his daughter. The Old Chief later appears in the Siege of the Korg’ii Hold Quest, serving as the quest’s MacGuffin as Ula tasks you with protecting him at the Milodan/Korgonne Diplomacy Summit. Later in the quest the player must rescue him from the Milodan War Alpha. At the end of the quest, Chief chooses to abdicate the mantle of Chieftain to Ula, and ironically he can be found in Ula’s old bedroom with Repeatable Interactions. (You can’t fuck him you Gerontophilic weirdos!)

Quests

Ula’s Father is a central character in the Siege of the Korg’ii Hold Quest. In the quest, Ula will task the player with the duty of protecting her father in a Milodan/Korgonne Diplomacy Summit. When the chief is captured at the summit, he gets drugged and forced to lead the Milodans back to the Korg’ii Hold. He latter appears in his bedroom tied to a wall and forced to watch as the Milodan War Alpha and his friend prepare to spitroast his daughter Ula on his bed. After defeating the Alpha, the chief hands over his title to Ula.
