Description
A more dangerous than average Zil protecting their village.
Appearance
In stature he is a typical male zil - 5' 7", slim, boyish body clad in black carapace - but he is in full flight, open wings keeping him floating near your position, tauntingly just out of reach. He is armed with a long, thin shield and a poison-soaked assegai, with which he suddenly darts in and stabs you with to attack. He is daubed in war dyes and is livid with the joy of flight and battle, flicking this way and that, his heart-shaped face wild with varying degrees of lust, delight and righteous anger. There’s no chance of getting away from him up here - you’ll have to force him to buzz off.
History/Personality/Information of Note
The Zil of Quinn's tribe have long distrusted aliens ever since the colony of Esbeth was established. Their distrust turned to flat out hatred when Snugglé set up shop on their farmland; converting it into a cross between a plantation and a prison. However, no matter how great their hatred, they new that they could not declare war against the Thare Plantation given the incredibly advanced and impenetrable high tech defenses. That was, until an escaped convict managed to reach Quinn's and educate her people on the plantation's exploitable weaknesses.
This warrior is a male of the species. Capable of aerial attacks to strike down his opponents with his spear and penetrate Plasma Shields. He is certainly more dedicated to inflicting pain than giving pleasure.
Interactions
Encountered after defeating Kane at the start of the Plantation Quest. They have a chance to ambush you as you ascend the waterfall. They will no longer appear after it is resolved. Same as the Zil Hornet.
Combat
Because this warrior is male, he possesses wings. These wings allow him to hover adjacent from the player and attack with melee weapons mid air. The Zil Hoverfly has the 'Flying Status Effects, making him immune to most melee attacks. Unlike most encounters, this advantage is not nullified by the player having flight capable Wings since flight is not allowed during this quest. In addition to his carapace he is armed with a Spear and a primitive buckler.
Losing in combat results in a 50 energy loss and being forced to give him oral sex. Possibly resulting in the PC being sent back to the start of the gauntlet if they run out of energy.
- Twin Needle - The Zil attacks twice inflicting an Aphrodisiac to un-shielded targets.
- Zweet Breeze - A lust damage attack that can blinds for 2 turns unless the target has high enough intelligence.
- Shields Up - Raises his own armor by 40 for two turns
