- The Chupacabro is based on the Chupacabra. Literally meaning Goat Sucker in Spanish, it is a Mexican cryptid purported to drain goats and other live stock like chickens, sheep, and cows of their blood through almost-vampiric bite wounds. Then it would drag its victims to its lair to devour their flesh.
