Xotchi uses the last of her respectability to obtain a 4.2 Trillion Credit loan, with her wabeship as collateral. She also uses her wealth to buy off anyone who would serve as the [[$link-976|Rival]]'s bodyguard or provide him/her with supplies or loans. Effectively blacklisting your cousin for the next year. She offers your cousin and uncle the 4.2 Trillion Credits in exchange for signing a contract for exiting the [[$link-977|Planet Rush]] and to no longer pursue ''your'' inheritance. Your cousin has no choice, even when the act of doing so will mean that Xotchi will almost certainly bankrupt herself. But at this point she only cares about you. |
