Harokees was at this time locked in a violent dispute with the [[$link-4|Gold Myr]] over the relatively untouched landmass of Undandin; seeing its potential to disrupt Gold attempts to cultivate the Undandin fungus fields, the Red military approved cockvine’s covert release into Gold territory. The species duly exploded in population, spreading well beyond Undandin to infect virtually every corner of the Myrellion underground, despite a number of poorly coordinated joint efforts on the part of the Myr to wipe it out. |
