First contact was tenuous, but swiftly proved successful, despite some diplomatic tension resulting from an incident when one of the laquine crew impregnated a female human scientist, and the laquine captain herself becoming pregnant by Captain Small of the Blue Orion. Peaceful acceptance into the U.G.C. followed quite soon thereafter. |
