Rahn who are ready to “lay” will frequently find their ovipositors extending in the presence of attractive females, be they other rahn or another species entirely. Some grow so enamored of their ovipositors that this behavior happens even when ‘unfertilized’. In this scenario, they will simply ejaculate lubricants and small, quickly dissolving eggs. |
