They are perfectly capable of respecting U.G.C. rule of law, however, and scare stories of tarratch cot-robbers and press gangs on space stations are invariably untrue. All official hierarchies confine themselves to indentured servant trading, enslaving outlaws and, during frontier rushes, technically legal poaching of native species. |
