| 史 English(en) | Zaika have three fingers and a thumb on each hand but only two toes. Originally adapted for living in canyons and caves, their long legs and split-digit feet give them incredible forward speed, but limit their lateral maneuverability. To aid their balance, the tails of the zaika show a range of movement and dexterity equal to the tentacles of aquatic organisms. Modern living has largely relegated their tails to courting and reproductive activities, but some still employ the appendage as a sort of third arm. |
