If you try to lead him to the jungle, you will tell him you are a scout and now that you have found his village, you will bring an army to burn it to the ground. This leads to him pursuing you to stop you, which is successful based on a [[$link-14|Reflexes]] test. Choosing to attack him or failing any of the aforementioned tests leads to combat.
