This is a reference to the Corruption of Champions character [https://wiki.smutosaur.us/CoC/Akbal Akbal], God of Terrestrial Fire. * Orryx has a distinct dresses and attire similar to that of people in the mid to late 1800's. He also has an odd way of speaking and a fear of badgers. This is supposed to be a reference to Lewis Caroll's nonsensical poem ''[https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/42916/jabberwocky Jabberwocky]'', which was published in 1871 and written in a way similar to how Orryx speaks. Additionally, the poem tells of two feuding races the Jub-Jub Birds and the badger-like [[$link-5|Tove]]s. |
