Very little is known about Saendra’s background at present, although she can be pressed to reveal that her parents were both spacers, and her mother is still alive somewhere. It is revealed in the bad end of Fall of the Phoenix that she appears to have some personal connection to the Black Void Dread Lord, Mirian Bragga. The most obvious connection to her past Steele has is Valeria, Saen’s personal A.I., who she’s had since she was a child.
