When he finally spotted the white blur of Anno’s wagging tail, Kase’s nervousness only increased. The ausar woman was at the bar, wearing a slutty cowgirl outfit and clearly deep in her cups. The kaithrit had always been slightly afraid of her, but luckily for him, he was not the center of her attention at the moment. In spite, or perhaps because of, her obvious inebriation, she seemed to be trying to persuade the bartender, a hulking android with a concerned expression, to do something. As Kase drew closer, his keen ears managed to catch the end of Anno’s sentence, “...if you do, I promise I won’t tell anyone.”
