Verusha despite looking like a hyena now was originally a normal Terran. When she found herself with a surplus of credits and too many weapons to reasonably justify buying more, she began sculpting her body into something more to her liking. She chose increased height to be able to carry heavier weaponry, and together with her hyena-appearance be more intimidating. To obtain her mods she stroke a deal with a dealer; she removed some of his competition, and he gave her a hefty discount.
