Later, she joined Kiro and acted as the navigator of the Tamahime. She and Kiro would use information given by Mason to raid transport ships loaded with gold. It was during one of these raids that they were attacked by the Black Void three to one. Although, they managed to defeat the Black Void raiding party, Paige was slashed across the eyes leading to the loss of her sight.
